Sure am. By the way, I thought I smelled something burning in here. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that charred lump of coal behind you is the culprit.
Oh, hello Cater. I'm debating what to do for our upcoming unbirthday party. Trey's busy enough with his Stargazer duties. I wouldn't want to make him bake on top of everything else. But who could possibly sub in?
Aaand that's how I became Dessert Director Cay-Cay. But our sponge cake just wouldn't rise! And when I tried baking it for longer, it got all burned. Which means I'm now Dessert DISASTER Cay-Cay.

Uh, Cater? I'm sorry, but this pie keeps caving in.

My cookies are like hockey pucks. I thought I followed the recipe to the letter...
Cakes don't rise when the eggs aren't beaten enough. You need to get plenty of air in there. Pie dough caves in when it's been handled too much. Body heat causes the butter to melt. If your cookie texture's wrong, it might be the flour. Did you sift it?
I've just had more experience in the kitchen than you guys. I still can't hold a candle to my parents; they're professional bakers. I'm always on the lookout for new sweets to try and add to my repertoire.
Trey's busy with his Stargazer job. The whole point of this exercise was to take work off his plate. You've defeated the entire purpose. What were you thinking?
Hmph. Well, if you insist. But I'll need to find another solution regardless, so that your absence doesn't impact our desserts. I see now this problem won't be solved by simply getting more people to help.
Hear me out. The most important part of baking is always mixing. Flour, eggs, butter, sugar—you need to mix a lot of ingredients well, under varying conditions. Someone can follow a recipe perfectly and still botch the finished product if they don't mix properly.
That's where a food processor comes in. It allows anyone to mix and knead evenly. If you have one, you don't have to worry about the temperature of the butter or eggs, or about sifting the flour.
If a food processor will make it easier to adhere to the Queen of Heart's rules, then it'll be worth it in the long run. I'll amend this year's budget and set aside money for one. Go ahead and order it.
You have nothing to thank me for. Improving a dorm's quality of life is a housewarden's job. I'll take my leave now. Just remember, Trey... A Stargazer's duties are also an important campus tradition. So focus less on the baking bailouts and more on the star collecting, hm?
Yes, Housewarden. Fantastic. Now I can finally take a crack at this one dessert recipe. It uses a bunch of spices. I can do pies and cookies with what we've already got... But if I wanna incorporate more spices, I need some high-end kitchen gear that can grind them finely. Guess using my Wishing Star to wish for a cutting-edge food processor worked out pretty nicely after all.
