The Sorcerer's Epic

Requirements:
  • Take 1 normal lesson with Kalim as your study partner.
KalimThe Sorcerer of the Sands' chief exploit was saving the land from a street rat.
That usurper tried to trick the sultan and princess. Every era has its swindlers.
What? You think I seem pretty gullible myself? Aha ha, maybe you're right!
But I've got Jamil, and he'd spot anyone trying to swindle me in a heartbeat.

Magic Divining Tool

Requirements:
  • Take 5 normal lesson with Kalim as your study partner.
  • Read "The Sorcerer's Epic"
KalimHave you heard of the tool of divination passed down in the Land of Scalding Sands?
It's a magical hourglass that only works on stormy days when lightning strikes.
The Sorcerer of the Sands built a lightning generator to speed up the process.
They say it worked like a treadmill, using motion to generate lightning...
But even MY suspension of disbelief has its limits!

Flying a Magic Carpet

Requirements:
  • Take 15 normal lesson with Kalim as your study partner.
  • Read "Magic Divining Tool"
KalimSorry about that! I nearly ran you over with my magic carpet back there.
I was rushing to make it to class on time, and...yeah.
Too bad I'm not a master rider like the old sultan of the Scalding Sands.
They say he once raced with a bird and flew under an elephant's legs!
When I tried that, I nearly crashed into the ceiling of the grand hall back home!

Judge of Character

Requirements:
  • Bring Jamil on the 16th or later normal lesson taken with Kalim as your study partner.
  • Read "Flying a Magic Carpet"
JamilYou want to know about the sultan the Sorcerer of the Sands served? For a report?
KalimYeah. It's like there are barely any records about the guy!
JamilWe do know that he named the Sorcerer of the Sands as his royal vizier.
The sultan was undoubtedly an excellent judge of character.
KalimI'm just as excellent a judge of character as the Sultan of the Sands himself.
Wouldn't you agree, Jamil?
JamilYou're asking me? Well, now...
