Mya-hah! Our dorm is all decked out! It really feels like Founding Day now that the lounge's all prettied up. |

For sure! I didn't expect the sophomores would do that. It was a lotta work, and all for our benefit! Myahahah! Oh, but I put up the biggest balloon bunch over the window there. Slick, ain't it? |

Silver offered to help, so I used his shoulders as a footstool. Silver's a quiet guy, and it's hard to tell what he's thinkin' sometimes, but he's handy to have around. Still, his shoulders were stiff 'cuz he's all muscley, so it was hard to stand on 'em... Not to mention he dozed off while I was workin' on the balloons. I freaked out when my stool started wobblin'! Then I fell off... If Kalim and his magic carpet hadn't caught me, I mighta gotten hurt. |

Make it up? Eh, you know how Kalim is. He just started goin' on about puttin' gems everywhere after that. He's all about fancy stuff, and he never listens to a word people say. He's shoved crackers in my mouth more than once, too... Wait, I get it now! He's tryin' to convince me to join Scarabia, isn't he? Myahahah. I bet that's why Silver's bein' all nice too. Boy, it ain't easy bein' popular! |

Are you kiddin'? Ramshackle's the best dorm there is. After all, I run it! Then again, decoratin' the walls with gold would brighten up the joint. Ruggie liked the idea too. He told me the big trend right now is makin garlands outta thaumarks. But that can't be true... If I know that guy, he was just plannin' to swipe some of the thaumarks for himself. |

I remember this one time I ran into him while I was carryin' some tuna cans. It was scary how he followed me around... That guy never misses an opportunity, even on Founding Day. I gotta learn to be greedier like him! Too bad Jamil put a stop to that whole idea, or we woulda been rolling in thaumarks. Stupid Jamil. He then left a buncha treats on the table and said that's all we needed. ...Though now that I'm lookin' at 'em, he might be right. Those look mighty tasty! Myahahah. |

Y'know what surprised me the most, though? When Floyd tried to change all the balloon colors right in the middle of puttin' 'em up. He was all like, "Pink's borin'," when at first he was happy and talkin' about how cute the color was. Sheesh! His moods swing around so fast, I get whiplash. He was throwin' out so much color-changin' magic, my tail turned green at one point! |

Jade went over to speak to him, and I thought he'd talk some sense into the guy... But instead he was like, "This would look better with purple polka dots." I couldn't believe my ears! Jade's always smilin', but sometimes he says even more ridiculous stuff than Floyd. You gotta watch out for that guy. If Riddle hadn't stepped in, you and I both would be green with purple polka dots right now. |

But then Riddle got all hung up on his dorm rules 'cuz we're havin' a non-birthday-related party with no black tea... The rest of us tried to get him to stop fussin' about it, and a whole fight broke out. Boy, was it rough gettin' all these decorations put up! Still, at least they're gonna help us with our alchemy lessons to make up for it. They ARE our upperclassmen, and a lot of 'em are pretty competent... Which means we've got a real shot at gettin' full marks on our next exam. Myahahah, I'd call that a win! |

Well, I'm pretty mature, y'know. I've gotten better at stickin' it out through boring classes. Crewel and Trein get on my case if I cut class, and I AM gonna be a great mage one of these days... And more than anything else, I gotta look after you! Considerin' how much trouble my hench-human is, one of us has gotta have their head on straight. Right? |
