Riddle Rosehearts[]
Floyd enjoys teasing Riddle a lot, as he finds Riddle's reactions entertraining.
Floyd's nickname for Riddle is "goldfish" or 金魚 (kingyo) in Japanese.
Octavinelle[]
Azul Ashengrotto[]
Floyd met Azul during their childhood. Floyd claims that he'll leave Azul if he becomes boring, but has known him for long enough that it is unlikely that he'll ever be bored with him. Azul doesn't have a fish nickname because "Azul is Azul" to Floyd.
Jade Leech[]
Jade is Floyd's twin brother. It's unclear if either of them is "older" as Floyd always claims that neither of them are younger or older than the other one.
Staff[]
Dire Crowley[]
Like most of his students, Floyd does not think much of Crowley. Although as well, the boy is irresponsible half the time, of him, in particular, doesn't appreciate that he does not take any responsibility.
During Port Fest, in fact, Floyd observes that Crowley has a habit of dumping tasks on others and is never present when there is work to be done. As for Crowley, he doesn't regard Floyd as anything other than a student and treats him similarly to everyone else.
His nickname for Crowley is "Professor Manta Ray" or (Manta-sensei) in Japanese.
Mozus Trein[]
Trein often nags Floyd about his behavior, to the point that he is convinced he is being targeted by Trein. His nickname for Trein is "Red squid" or 赤烏賊 (Aka ika-sensei) in Japanese.
Divus Crewel[]
Floyd has a strained relationship with Crewel and there are several events where they are seen arguing, demonstrating their intolerance of each other. During Halloween Crewel, perhaps out of prejudice, is quick to blame Floyd for certain happenings with Magicam Monsters, until he is defended by unnamed Octavinelle students.
However, it seems that Crewel often reprimands him for not obeying commands or trying his best on homework, as Floyd's grades can range from 0 to 100, depending on his mood. In an outburst with Jade that, although he is not the only one with bad grades in class, Crewel only takes it out on him.
His nickname for Crewel is "striped beakfish" or 石鯛 (Ishidai-sensei) in Japanese.
Ashton Vargas[]
Floyd dislikes Vargas, describing him as "loud and annoying" in Campus Vargas. After all, Vargas encourages Floyd and comments on his athletic abilities, but it seems that his excessive enthusiasm bothers him.
Floyd's nickname for Vargas is "Coach lobster" or ("Lobster-sensei") in Japanese.
Sam[]
He and Floyd know each other quite well as he sometimes makes business deals with him. Sam is usually able to go with the flow in most matters, but Floyd's extravagant pace continues to surprise him. Generally Floyd is quiet, but there are times when he needs something from the Mystery Shop so badly that Floyd carelessly kick down the door after closing time and demands it.
Another fact that leaves him surprised is his easy avoidance of bargaining prices with him. His nickname for Sam is "Seahorse" or 海馬 (Umi uma) in Japanese.
