Exams are unlocked after players finish Book 1. They have two battle options that change periodically.
Difficulty[]
There are four different difficulties:
- Easy multiplies score by 0.8
- Normal multiplies score by 1.0
- Hard multiplies score by 1.2
- Extra Hard multiples score by 1.5
The higher difficulty a player chooses, the higher it will increase a player's score in rank. Players' high score will determine their rank and the amount of rewards they get when the period ends.
Types[]
The exams can be fire, flora, water, cosmic or omni (mixed elements).
The battles can be basic, defense or offense.
In basic exams, the score depends on how much damage is dealt to the enemy team's HP. The damage is counted even after the enemy's HP reaches zero. For example, if an SSR card's duo magic spell is used, and the enemy HP is reduced to zero after the first hit, the other two hits' damage is still counted for the exam score.
In defense exams, the score depends on the player's own team's HP. The more HP players have at the end of the battle, the higher the score is. It's recommended to bring cards with high HP and healing abilities.
In offense exams, the score depends on how much damage the player can deal in the least number of turns.
Exam Points[]
Players get 5 EP (Exam Points) a day and can choose to spend one or all EP at the start of an exam. The rewards gained at the end will be multiplied according to how many EP gets used at once.
EP recovery[]
EP is refilled to max daily, but players have the option to use items to refill it.
Phial of Moonshards: Recovers 1 exam point. Cannot use at full EP.
Bottle of Moonshards: Recovers all exam points. Cannot use at full EP.

- To finish exam missions faster, it's recommended to use one EP per exam, as using multiple EP at once will still count as one exam taken.
